In line with this commitment, we endeavor to establish and uphold a Green Campus Policy, aiming to foster a culture of ecological responsibility and conservation within our institution.
Policy Statement: Environmental Management: a. The College will implement eco-conscious practices to reduce resource consumption and minimize waste generation.
b. Sustainability will be integrated into all facets of campus operations, prioritizing energy and water conservation, waste reduction, and pollution prevention.
c. Preservation of green spaces and biodiversity will be paramount, promoting the use of native flora to maintain natural habitats.
Energy Efficiency: a. Emphasizing energy efficiency, the College will strive to curtail greenhouse gas emissions and decrease energy usage.
b. Investments in renewable energy sources like solar power and optimization of building energy performance through efficient design and lighting systems will be pursued.
Waste Management: a. Waste reduction, reuse, and recycling initiatives will be instituted to minimize landfill waste.
b. Rigorous waste segregation and proper disposal practices will be enforced, with a focus on recycling paper, plastics, glass, and organic matter.
Water Conservation: a. The College will implement water-saving measures to reduce water consumption and ensure responsible water management.
